Excellent, Reliable Game Viewing Year Round
Hwange is a true year-round Africa safari destination, as it offers excellent, reliable game-viewing at any time. The dry winter months (May – September) offers the best temperatures, visibility, and game-viewing opportunities, especially at the waterholes and hides, or even from your lodge room. From October it gets really hot during the summer months before the rainy season (November – April) starts, however, seeing the Park transforming after the rains is quite a memorable experience, although wildlife is more scattered and more difficult to see especially at waterholes.
Very Accessible & Easily Combined with Other Safari Attractions
Hwange National Park is easily accessed by either road or air from Victoria Falls. A road transfer brings you to the park in less than two hours, with a charter flight the quickest option. Flights from Harare can also be arranged. At the airstrip you will be warmly welcomed and enjoy a game-drive transfer to your accommodation of choice. Besides Victoria Falls, Hwange is ideally situated for easy access to Mana Pools National Park in northern Zimbabwe as well as Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta in Botswana too.
