Enter Africa’s unspoiled natural wonder

Embark on an exclusive Uganda private tour through the Kibale Forest National Park and experience some of the most captivating wildlife in the entire African continent. With towering trees, lush vegetation, and amazing wildlife, this is a luxury Uganda safari that is not to be missed.

Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale Forest National Park – Uganda’s lush oasis

A Uganda lodge safari is just not the same without a visit to the spectacular Kibale Forest National Park. Its unparalleled natural beauty is peacefully tucked away in the shadows of the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western region of Uganda, close to the town of Masindi. The park covers an area of more than 1,000 km2.

Kibale hosts one of the most biodiverse forests in the world and is teeming with primates and birds. It’s also a great place to experience African culture and learn about the people who call this place home. The park’s forest and grasslands contain trees from 16 of Uganda’s 20 biomes, including baobab, makombo, and mahogany. The park’s rich biodiversity offers visitors the unique opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat.

The name Kibale means “a place where the sun begins its course again,” and this is truly a place where you can feel the romance of Africa – and indeed, there are many couples who elect to book unforgettable Uganda honeymoon packages here. The park is famous for its population of mountain gorillas and offers visitors a chance to get up close and personal with these fascinating, endangered animals.

Although it is not an easy destination to access, Kibale Forest National Park is definitely one of the most overlooked destinations in Africa. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, making it one of the oldest and largest remaining tracts of primary tropical rainforest in central Africa.

If you are looking for an exclusive African safari experience, look no further than Kibale Forest National Park – our tailor-made tours will make your dreams a reality.

The story of the Kibale Forest National Park chimpanzees

The Kibale Forest National Park chimpanzees are some of the most studied primates in the world. There are about 500 chimpanzees living in the park. These apes have a varied diet consisting of over 100 different species of plants and live in large social groups that are made up of males, females, and their young. Uganda guided tours to this part of the world are off the beaten track and feel like your own personal window into the heart of Africa.

Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale

If you are lucky, you might get an opportunity to trek through the Kibale Forest National Park and get up close and personal with these amazing primates. You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with them as you amble through the forest along a peaceful, lush trail.

Climbing the canopy walkway

One of the best ways to experience the Kibale Forest National Park is by climbing the famous canopy walkway. The raised pathway traverses through the tops of the trees, allowing you to experience the park from a completely new angle. The canopy walkway at the Kibale Forest National Park is one of the highest in the world. It is about 26 meters (85 feet) above the ground and about 30 meters (100 feet) above the River Nile, which runs through the park.
