The Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It was established in 1898 as a conservation area and opened its gates for the first time to the public in 1927. The Kruger Park is the second largest nature reserve in South Africa, covering about 2 million hectares - almost 19, 000 square km. It is 350 kilometres long from North to South and 60 kilometres wide from East to West.

The best time of the year for your Kruger Safari is during the winter months of April to September. Water is restricted to rivers and waterholes; visibility is also good as the vegetation is less dense. A Kruger Safari in the summer-time however is almost just as great. It from October to March is often hot and humid due to the rains, but viewing the Big 5 (Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino Lion and Leopard) and bird viewing is excellent. Wildlife Safari viewing is good in the early morning and late afternoon. A Kruger Safari in November and December is a must! It is the 2 joyous months of the year when all the new babies arrive!

• We conduct your safari in the Kruger Park personally in an open 4x4 safari vehicle or a closed luxury, air-conditioned vehicle according to your choice. You will stay over in the semi-luxury chalets available in the Kruger Park's many camps. These chalets have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning and each of the units is serviced daily. You will enjoy meals either prepared by your safari ranger or in one of the restaurants.
• Should you prefer a luxury safari, we check you in at one of the many private lodges on a full board basis in the Sabi Sands or the Timbavati private safari reserves, which forms all part of the Greater Kruger Park. Here you will be guided on an open 4x4 safari vehicle by the safari rangers of the private lodge.
• If you prefer to do a safari in the Kruger Park on a self-drive basis, we will arrange your vehicle and accommodation for you. You can unfortunately not visit a private lodge on a self-drive basis.
• Our extensive knowledge of the Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique and other safari destinations puts us in a position to offer unbiased advice and recommend the best destinations, as we are not affiliated to any lodge.
