DAY 1 – Kruger Park area
Meet up with your Jewel of Africa Safaris guide who will transfer you to Lanseria Airport near Johannesburg for your forward flight in a privately chartered jet directly to Tinga Private Game Lodge. Tinga liesin the heart of the Kruger National Park.
 
Settle in before embarking on your first safari drive (also known as a game drive) in an open 4x4 vehicle with your wildlife ranger. You will be served drinks and snacks on your afternoon safari drives. The afternoon drives get back after dark to give you the opportunity to look for nocturnal animals with a spotlight. Dinner is served at the lodge.

DAY 2 & 3 - Kruger Park area
A typical day at a safari lodge begins with an early morning wake up call. Coffee and rusks are served and then leave for a morning safari drive, which returns around 10h00. Brunch is served, leaving you to spend the day at leisure.
 
Alternatively, you can explore the raw African bush on foot with a trained ranger. Walks through the bush take place just after breakfast on request. Your ranger will guide you through the fauna and flora of the area, pointing out animals, birds, insects, grasses, trees and the smaller species that are all an integral part of the area.
 
Around 16h00 is high tea and another safari drive departs afterwards. The party returns after dark and after some freshening up, you make your way to the “Boma”, where dinner is served around a campfire.
Spend some time after dinner around the fire, listening to the night sounds and enjoy watching a star-studded sky, allowing your ranger to point out the Milky Way and the Southern Cross.

DAY 4 – Rovos Rail 
After one more early morning safari, you will fly with your private jet back to Lanseria Airport where your Jewel of Africa Safaris guide will meet up again with you and transfer you to the departure point of Rovos Rail in Pretoria.

The journey on the world’s most luxurious train starts at 15h00 en-route to Cape Town. Guests may freshen up in their suites before joining fellow travellers in the midway Lounge car or Observation carriage at the rear of the train. A gourmet dinner is served in the dining car.

DAY 5 – Rovos Rail
Breakfast is served in the dining car until 09h45. Ten minutes before arriving in Kimberley there is a shallow lake on the right hand side of the train. On most occasions, there are spectacular flocks of Flamingos - approx. 23 000. Upon arriving in the diamond town of Kimberley, guests disembark and proceed by coach for a tour of the city, the “Big Hole” (biggest mad made hole in the world) and the Mine Museum. Lunch and dinner is served in the dining car.

DAY 6 – Cape Town
 
At around 08h00, there is an opportunity to disembark the train at Whitehill siding and walk or jog the 5 kilometers into Matjiesfontein. The Train Manager or a member of staff will accompany you. Comfortable walking or running shoes are essential. The train arrives at Matjiesfontein where you will have a chance to stroll through this historic settlement. Of special interest is the museum on the platform and a collection of historic cars and railway carriages to the right of
the Hotel.
 
Breakfast will be served in the dining car/s between 07h00 and 10h00. We depart Matjiesfontein passing through Tweedside and Touws River. At 12h00 we reach the first of four tunnels which take us through the Hex River Pass. The second tunnel is 13.5kms long so please be careful if you are walking through the train. If you are in your suite you may wish to turn on a light. Lunch will be served as we pass through the Hex River Valley and the town of Worcester.
 
Arrive at Platform 24 Cape Town Station where our journey ends. You will be met by your Jewel of Africa Safaris guide who will transfer you to the world famous One & Only Resorts Hotel. Check into the Presidential suite (depending on availability).
 
Enjoy dinner at leisure in one of the many top-class restaurants available at the V&A Waterfront.

DAY 7 – Cape Town
Today is free for independent sightseeing in Cape Town, but your guide will be on stand-by for your perusal. You will be given a day pass for the red Cape Town Explorer Bus (also referred to as the “Hop-On Hop-Off Bus”)do a city tour of Cape Town. A guide onboard the bus will tell you about the interesting facts and history of Cape Town. The bus stops at all Cape Town’s key sights and beaches, including the cable car for Table Mountain. 
 
We visit Jewel Africa for a fascinating diamond cutting tour. Jewel Africa is a world-class interactive shopping destination that offers exclusive, private tours where visitors can learn how gold chain is produced and a diamond cutter guides visitors through a diamond cutting and polishing tour unveiling the intricate skills of diamond polishing. Dinner at leisure.

DAY 8 – Cape Point and Boulders
Your guide will collect you at the hotel and depart for Cape of Good Hope - the most Southwestern point of Africa where, in theory, the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Enjoy lunch at the Black Marlin Restaurant. Our next stop is a visit to a penguin colony at Boulder Bay after lunch an then we visit the amazing Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens who only grows indigenous South African plants.
 
The cultivated garden (36 hectares) displays collections of South African plants, particularly those from the winter rainfall region of the country. Dinner at leisure.

DAY 9 – Overnight on a luxury yacht
The full serviced cruise departs mid-morning from the Waterfront to Hout Bay for lunch. Continue around Cape Point to overnight in Simons town Harbor with dinner either on board or at one of the well-known restaurants. Note that it is subject to weather.

DAY 10 – Winelands
The next day cruise back to the V&A Waterfront via Clifton Beach. Imagine arriving in style at 3 different wine estates in 3 different regions – stop imagining, this is what we do. Upon our return from the yacht, we fly you from CT Airport to Constantia Uitsig for wine tasting; from there we take a scenic flight over to Blaauwklippen Estate in Stellenbosch and enjoy wine tasting and lunch.
 
For the final leg, we take you to the Valley of Franschhoek, visiting Haute Cabriere for a traditional South African Sparkling wine tasting before jet setting back to reality. Tasting, lunch and extra beverages is included.

Day 11 – The Benguela Cove Lifestyle Experience
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, one of the most exclusive residential and lifestyle Estates in South Africa, is nestled between two gentle hills on the banks of the Botrivier Lagoon opposite the neighboring Arabella Estate and just a stones throw away from Hermanus, South Africa’s whale-watching capital. In the comfort of a Base 4 Helicopter, we will take you on a scenic flight around the Atlantic coast to the False Bay coast & Walker Bay. Along this route, you will have the opportunity of seeing the Southern Right Whales, including a variety other marine life. We will pass over the harbour town of Hermanus, home to the Southern Right Whale, before arriving at Benguela Cove.

DAY 12 – Canal Walk Shopping Centre
We spend the last day at leisure for some last minute shopping before your departure back home at Canal Walk, the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere.
