Our Kruger Park Safari packages are divided into 3 categories.

The Executive Kruger Park safaris present you with the crème de la crème – the ultimate in traveling! Only the best luxury Kruger Park lodges are used. Luxury vehicles, chauffeur services, luxury rail coaches, private jets and helicopters are the main means of transport.
Our Luxury Kruger Park safaris focus mainly on 5 star luxury safari lodges in the Kruger Park. Safaris to Kwazulu Natal and the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, Welgevonden Game Reserve and the Kgalgadi Transfrontier Park (Kalahari) are also incorporated. Rangers in open vehicles conduct safaris at these luxury lodges.
Guides in the employ of Jewel of Africa Safaris undertake our Classic Kruger Park safaris. Fully serviced chalets with air-conditioning and en-suite facilities in the camps of the Kruger Park are used as accommodation. Although our focus is on safaris, we occasionally combine a safari with a South Africa tour for a perfect holiday safari.

We plan and create each safari in the finest detail, but afford you the luxury to tailor any safari currently on our website.

If you choose to do a self-drive safari, you don’t have the services of one of our guides. This is quite unfortunate, as you will miss all the interesting facts about the animals’ behaviour. Most foreign tourists leave themselves exposed to danger as they don’t know or understand an elephant or a lion’s body language.

A guide in the Kruger Park is almost a must-have. As we here in South Africa like to say, “You can’t beat local knowledge”. Who knows Africa better than we do? After all, this is our home!

Our luxury Kruger Park Safaris focus on the luxury Kruger Park lodges.

It offers you the best African Bush experience, up close & personal wildlife viewing, the highest standards of service, and above all, an unforgettable luxury safari of a lifetime.

Rangers working for the luxury Kruger Park lodge of your choice conduct the morning and afternoon safaris in open 4x4 vehicles. On the morning safari drive, you will be served tea, coffee and biscuits, while on the sunset safari, you can enjoy snacks, canapés and local wines, beer or spirits. The sunset drive returns to the lodge after dark and gives you the opportunity to spot some nocturnal animals.

CLASSIC SAFARIS

Explore the beauty of the Kruger Park with the services of your own personal professional guide. You can sit back and relax while your guide saves you the hassle of driving, leaving you to listen to interesting facts about animal behavior, while enjoying the Kruger Park’s breathtaking surroundings in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle.

Jewel of Africa Safaris offers any day departure safaris to majestic Kruger National Park. Our highly trained guides conduct all the safaris personally and are arguably, as competent as any of the rangers working for a luxury Kruger Park lodge. All the itineraries here apply for guests who prefer a self-drive safari, but without the services of a professional guide however.

We use air-conditioned thatched chalet accommodation at the different camps of the Kruger Park. It is comfortable, clean, has en-suite facilities and are serviced on a daily basis. Meals are served at restaurants on the premises, but occasionally your guide may treat you with a traditional braai (barbeque).
